A new financial has commenced and the market has slightly changed with a modest increase in opportunities in permanent and contract engineering recruitment which of course is most welcome to see. We do firmly believe that engineering recruitment delivered by engineers delivers high quality outcomes and is a strong point of difference, and combined with our established networks, proven processes and calibre of staff.

Building Services

The building & mechanical services industry is thriving, and we’re on the lookout for talented Senior Mechanical Engineers, Contract Managers, and Project Managers in ACT, VIC, NSW and QLD. This is a candidate-driven market, which means it’s an excellent time to explore new opportunities. You might find it beneficial to consider a role change now, potentially securing better terms, conditions, or salary.

 

Engineering & Manufacturing Operations

With a new financial year comes new hope, and this appears to have carried over into the recruitment market, especially in as far as engineering & manufacturing operations roles are concerned. The second half of the previous financial year saw a market which was stagnant, perhaps due to the uncertainty created by inflation and high interest rates. Today there appears to be an increase in activity, clearly evidenced by the number of roles that need filling, and also with regard to the increased number of applications received for roles. Current roles are varied and include Manufacturing Managers, Business Development Managers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Industrial Engineers, and both Mechanical and Electrical Field Service Engineers. These are terrific opportunities.  Interestingly, there has been an uptick in the availability of high-quality potential candidates from New Zealand. They are filling roles such as Senior Maintenance Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers and Specialist Consultancy Engineers, bringing great experience and high-quality professional qualifications to hiring managers.
